Now planning for goals for 2013, probably an R-12. With the OR Randonneurs schedule of brevets, that leaves 7 months to come up with permanents to make up the other months. Between August and September is a good opportunity to use the Bingen to Heffner 200k in August and come back the next day in September with the Heffner to Bingen. It would happen on Labor Day weekend, so time to rest, as well.
One question is whether the same permanent can be use more than once in the same year, and still get credit for it?
Need to find out.
Getting ready to mark a record distance travelled by bicycle, this 2012. Expecting to exceed 4,500 miles for the year.
