A 200km route, it’s an out-and-back route, this coffee was at 100km.
The coffee was also effective to head into the headwind that had gotten stronger as we were there. The pastry was needed, as well.
This day did have a creditable event. Even though this is a “pay to play” permanent brevet that cost $0, I did ride to the official start and did buy and enjoy a cup of Joe before starting off, it’s about 2.5 mile from my house to the Multnomah Village start, and not much is open at that time of day.
The drink was a tall Pike Place and here’s an image of the receipt. As I was busy with clothing and paperwork for the brevet, didn’t get a good photo of the cup when I drank it. It turned out to be a colder morning than I expected, It is November, after all.
